A new outfit just for Tanya...

Today I finished an outfit for Tanya, my new girl from Maru & Friends.  I usually like to make a new outfit prior to a new dolls arrival but I was completely uncertain of Tanya's shape, so waited until she got here.

Surprise, surprise, she got a ra-ra set!  I say it like that, but seriously, only one other of my dolls has a ra-ra skirt set, so it's not like they're all dressed in them!!!  She chose a three tiered style skirt, with gingham and fine net underneath, and a short sleeved appliqued tee shirt.  I didn't make her a hairband as I ran out of time, nor socks, as the sandals wouldn't fit with socks.  Maybe next time!

    1. Thanks so much Ginger, I'm glad you like it. I used the house applique look before on a Sasha outfit, can't remember whether that was yours or Jenni's, I'll have to check my photos! But I liked it so thought I'd do another similar one. I like doing appliques as you may have gathered!! :)

  3. She looks so pleased with it! I think pastelsare just right for her. She seems the very feminine type. I love the sweet little embelishments you use on the tees for these sets. When my girls come out of hibernation, they are hoping for an Indian summer, so they can show off the two sets you made them.

    1. She really does, Jenni!!! Though to be honest, she was just relieved to get out of Marlee's outfit and into her own, especially as her knickers were showing by about an inch at the back! LOL...poor girl, my dolls do suffer here!
I look forward to seeing your girls in their outfits when you get them all out again!
