Sharing secrets.....

A couple of Gotz girlies, sharing secrets....

I made this new outfit for Joie (on right) a few weeks ago, before we came down to the coast.  It was going to be for Christmas but she insisted she must wear it now!!!  I love this Scandanavian style fabric which was a new childs hoodie that I bought a couple of years ago from C&A (yes, thankfully we still have C&A here in Spain).  I'd saved it for something 'special'...and finally decided the time was right to dismantle it and use it for a dress for Joie!  It probably took me more time to unpick the hoodie than it did to actually make it into a dress!!!  The leggings are made from a new babygro from H&M!!

    1. Thanks very much Dee! Glad you like the outfits and the girls. Unfortunately it's an expensive way of doing things because sometimes the childrens clothes are not cheap but I really love the fabric, and you have to be very 'creative' in getting the pattern pieces to fit the fabric pieces, but it can be fun, because you often can't find the fabric that the manufacturers have found....I wonder where it comes from!! xxx

    1. Thanks very much Kendal. I do too, it's such a nice quality and feel, the inside has the softest fleecy feel to it.
Now I have just two tiny pieces left, really small and probably not big enough for much!
